Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered.

1. General Shipping Information

  • We ship within the United States and to Canada only.
  • Expedited shipping options (Next Day, 2‑Day) may be available for qualifying products.
  • We ship to Alaska and Hawaii. Shipments to U.S. territories (e.g., Puerto Rico) may be supported. Shipping to military addresses (APO/FPO) is not guaranteed and may require confirmation.
  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

2. Carriers & Methods

  • For small parcel shipments, we use UPS as our standard carrier.
  • Freight and oversized shipments are handled by various carriers based on order requirements.
  • Customers cannot use their own freight accounts or carriers for shipments.

3. Order Processing & Lead Times

  • Handling times vary by product. Lead times are displayed on each product page and depend on inventory and manufacturing schedules.
  • Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.
  • Orders received before 12:00 noon CST may ship the same day, depending on product type and availability. Larger or custom-packaged products may require additional processing time.
  • Backordered items typically ship when all items in the order are ready, unless otherwise arranged.

4. Freight & Oversized Items

  • Orders exceeding 8 feet in length or 150 pounds require freight shipping.
  • Freight delivery options (such as liftgate service or inside delivery) must be arranged in advance and may incur additional charges.
  • Freight shipments may be delivered to residential, commercial, or job site addresses depending on carrier availability. Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery access.

5. Shipping Costs & Options

  • Shipping rates are calculated in real time at checkout.
  • We do not offer flat-rate or free shipping thresholds at this time.
  • Additional charges may apply for oversized, heavy, or irregularly shaped items and will be calculated during checkout when available.

6. International Shipping (Canada)

  • We offer UPS Ground service to Canada.
  • Customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and brokerage fees (Delivered At Place – DAP).
  • Tracking information is provided for Canadian shipments.
  • Insurance is not included.

7. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments

  • Arch Hardware, LLC is not responsible for shipping delays once the order has left our facility.
  • Customers are responsible for filing claims with carriers for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments and must follow carrier deadlines and procedures.
  • Optional shipping insurance is not available through our store at this time.
  • Signature requirements may vary depending on the order and carrier.

8. Local Pickup & Delivery

  • We do not currently offer warehouse pickup or local delivery services in Texas.
